Maryam received her Bachelor of Art from University of California Berkeley in Molecular and Cell Biology with an emphasis in Neurobiology.  She was intrigued by how the Nervous System works and soon became very interested in chiropractic.  In order to learn more about this profession she started to work at a chiropractic office in Berkeley as a Chiropractic Assistant.  Different patients with different problems came into the office everyday.  Some had minor pain, yet others had major pain due to big accidents.  Working as a C.A she was able to witness the improvements of each and every patient.  This experience made her learn so much about chiropractic, and soon after she was determined to be a chiropractor to help people live a healthy life and educate them about chiropractic.

She attended Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, California and completed a comprehensive and challenging four years of chiropractic education including academic and clinical internship.  She still continues to attend seminars and pursues clinical excellence by reading and keeping up with any information that might be helpful to her patients.

She utilizes different chiropractic techniques from traditional manual "Diversified" adjusting to gentle "Drop Table" and "Spring Loaded Instrument" combined with soft tissue muscle work and physical therapy depending on each patient and condition to maximize the benefits to her patients.
She maintains a healthy life style and enjoys working out, hiking, reading, and traveling to various places to explore the world.  Chiropractic has changed the path of her life. She will serve her patients to the best of her ability, share her knowledge with them, and help them improve their life style because life requires balance.
